Green Power for Mobile Vendor List
The Green Power for Mobile (GPM) programme aims to help member mobile operators roll out green power solutions within their network infrastructure. The programme provides a set of assets and tools to support assessment, scenario modelling and solution design by operators. Mobile World Congress and Mobile Asia Congress
The GSMA conducts two market-leading events each year. Green Power for Mobile will hold special sessions at each of these events, providing an ideal forum for community development between operators, green power vendors, and telecommunications suppliers. The Mobile World Congress is the world's leading mobile communications conference and exhibition event, where top executives from operators, equipment vendors, IT companies and entertainment providers meet to do business. In 2008, more than 55,000 people attended the congress. The event is taking place in Barcelona, Spain on 16th-19th February 2009.
The Mobile Asia Congress is the fastest growing mobile communications event in Asia. As the sister event to the Mobile World Congress, the Asia Congress has been created to the same high standards with the objective to position the achievements and challenges of the Asia market. The event is taking place in Macau SAR, People’s Republic of China on 18th-20th November 2008.
