GSMA: Mobile Phone Lifecycles
We launched a new section on the GSMA microsite dedicated to mobile
phone lifecycle environmental issues. It contains information on all phone
lifecycle stages from design and use, through take-back and reuse before
end-of-life recycling . It also highlights partnership initiatives addressing used and end-of-life mobile phones.
The material is supported by an on-line animation, a 1 page flyer (pdf) and links to background documents, such as the GSMA report on this subject.
GSMA: Health & Environment Site Updates
There have been a number of updates and additions to the GSMA microsite.
- Added recent review reports from France and Sweden, and updated a number of other entries.
- A glossary has also been started that will be developed over time.
