Base Station Siting

Mobile and wireless communications services need a network of antenna sites to provide geographic coverage and sufficient capacity for consumers.

In response to concerns about possible health risks from radio signals and consistent with existing regulatory frameworks, policies and practices have been developed for base station siting.

We provide a summary listing of voluntary or mandatory codes of practice and other similar documents related to the deployment of radio communications infrastructure, especially mobile communications base stations.

Please provide links to other sources so that we can expand this listing by sending an email to health@gsm.org.
