Zhang Fan
Chief Technology Officer of China United Telecommunications Corporation. Mr. Zhang, a senior engineer, graduated from the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 1983. From 1995 to 1999, he served as an Chief Engineer and then Head of the Wireless Communication Division, and later Deputy CTO of the Designing Institute under the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. Mr. Zhang joined China Unicom in June 1999 and held the positions of General Manager of Mobile Communications Department and later Deputy CTO of China United Telecommunications Corporation. In July 2002, he was appointed as Chief Technology Officer of China United Telecommunications Corporation. Mr. Zhang has extensive experience in wireless communications and considerable experience in management in the telecommunications industry.
